CAMPUS SUMMARY
Mount Ida is located on a 72-acre campus in Newton, MA. A residential suburb only eight miles west of downtown Boston. The college provides a bus from the campus to public transportation for easy access to the city for both our resident and commuting populations. Our campus has five residence halls to accommodate approximately 740 students. New buildings include an Academic Technology Center and a new Athletic Center.

The college has a commitment to serving a diverse student population through academically rigorous programs and leadership and service learning opportunities. Most majors combine classroom learning with internship opportunities that often lead to permanent positions. Class size is small, averaging approximately 25, and studio classes range from 12-20. Our student population comes from more than 30 states and 40 countries creating a very exciting learning environment for all.
