MassGrant
Grants average nearly $1,000, with a maximum award of $2,500.
- must be a permanent Massachusetts resident for least one year
- must be attending full-time an eligible institution. An eligible institution is defined as a state-approved public, private, independent, or for-profit institution in Massachusetts authorized to offer undergraduate or diploma programs. Additional eligible institutions in New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut, Vermont, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia, which have reciprocity agreements with Massachusetts, are welcome to participate.
- must not yet have received a bachelor's degree
Gilbert Grant
- must be a permanent Massachusetts resident for at least one year
- must be attending full time at an independent, regionally accredited college in Massachusetts
- must not yet have received a bachelor's degree
Part-time Grant
- must be a permanent Massachusetts resident for at least one year
- must be enrolled part time in an accredited college
- must not have received a first bachelor's degree
Massachusetts No-Interest Loan Program (NIL)
- must be a permanent Massachusetts resident for at least one year
- must be attending full time at a regionally accredited, participating college in Massachusetts
- must be an undergraduate and not yet have received a bachelor's degree
