Founded in 1911, Pine Manor College (PMC) is a small, private four-year liberal arts college that prepares women for roles of inclusive leadership and social responsibility. With an enrollment of approximately 500 students from a wide range of cultural, racial, educational, and socioeconomic backgrounds, PMC has been ranked number one in diversity by US News and World Report for the third straight year.
Pine Manor College provides an educational environment that supports individual growth and empowers young women for responsible leadership. The College's small size helps accomplish this, but so do interactive teaching, interdisciplinary study, and active learning techniques such as portfolio development and internships for all students. The single-sex educational setting allows women to develop self confidence in an atmosphere that is nurturing yet challenging, supportive yet demanding, and compassionate yet rewarding. Students craft their academic program from over 50 areas of study, available within nine majors.
Pine Manor College is committed to providing an education that is reasonably priced for students across all income levels. In fact, Pine Manor is one of the most affordable four-year private colleges in the country. PMC’s tuition costs are lower because of generous contributions to the College’s Fund for Affordable Education. In addition, Pine Manor also offers academic scholarships, leadership awards, and a wide array of need-based financial aid.
