MCLA prides itself on an ideal student/faculty ratio of approximately 14:1 which fosters personal attention, quality teaching, and in-depth learning.
MCLA is located in North Adams, Massachusetts, 1 mile from the downtown area of 15,000, in the northwestern corner of the state, bordering both Vermont and New York.


UNIQUE/SPECIAL PROGRAMS
MCLA is the public liberal arts college of Massachusetts, offering Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Master of Education degrees. The college has 35 programs, 14 departmental majors, 26 minors and four levels of teacher certification.
Undergraduate programs are offered in biology, business administration, computer science, education, English/communications, environmental studies, fine and performing arts, history, interdisciplinary studies, mathematics, philosophy, physics, psychology and sociology.
