All Students Timeline
Applications for admission to Berklee College of Music continue to be received at an unprecedented rate.
As a result, semesters close well in advance of their start date.
We encourage applicants to submit all application documents and required fees at least six months prior to the semester they wish to attend.
Students intending to begin studies in September should submit their application along with all supporting documents as early as November 1 and no later than February 1.
The earlier you apply, the more opportunity you will have to take full advantage of housing and financial aid opportunities at the college.
Applications are permitted after February 1.
However, Admissions and other Student Affairs offices can provide best service to those who apply earliest.
Students may submit their application for admission using this online application.
All materials, electronic or printed, should be received by the college well in advance of the applicant’s desired semester of entry.
Communication regarding your application will be sent to the e-mail address you provide us on the application form.
It is critical therefore that you provide us with an up-to-date and accurate e-mail address.
In addition to an electronic notification, all decision letters will be sent by regular mail.
On occasion, we may also contact you by phone.
Please note: It is not required that applicants submit CDs with admissions applications.
However, you may choose to include a recording as a supplement to your application.
